Q: Is there a charge for the initial meeting?

Q: How am I charged for services?
A: All accounts at or above 20,000 are charged at a flat rate of 1.5% of the assets in the account. The Asset Based Brokerage Services Account (ABBS) program does not have a back or front-end sales charge. Our payment for helping you is determined by the amount of assets in the account. This program encourages advisors to grow your money and make the best choices for you without being swayed by the desire to earn commissions. All other accounts are charged on a fee and commission basis.
Q: Whom will I meet with?
A: All our clients meet directly with David Bonebrake
Q: Do I have to do a financial plan?
A: No... but we highly recommend that you do. Without a plan it is hard to make the best investment decisions for you because we do not have a full understanding of your needs, dreams, available assets and lifestyle.
Q: How much does a plan cost?
A: A comprehensive plan costs about $1,500-$3,000 depending on case complexity & other factors. Call us for more information.
Q: How often will we meet to discuss my portfolios performance?
A: We will meet with you at least once a year and preferable four times a year. You may also always schedule an appointment to meet with us if you have questions, concerns or just need to talk.
Q: Why do I need a financial advisor? Can't I do this on my own?
A. Financial Advising helps you achieve goals more efficiently. It provides value by helping you build appropriate asset allocation and choose the right methods to fund your goals. For example, is a 529 plan the best and only way to fund a college education? Should you set up a pension and a 401 (k) for your small business? How much life insurance do you need? We spend the time studying and researching so you can have a life.
